Cancun, Q.R. — Eight Cancun combi passengers were transferred to hospital after their vehicle rolled onto its side. Elements of Cancun Transit arrived at the scene late Saturday morning to find the combi laying on its side.
Paramedics were requested in SM 95 to transfer the injured to hospital. According to preliminary information, the combi was hit on its side by a private car while traveling along 16th Street.
When the unit reached an intersection, it was hit by the car and pushed over onto its side. The driver of the passenger van was found trapped behind the wheel of his unit. Firemen were called in to remove him using the jaws of life.
