Cancun, Q.R. — Two people were left with non-life-threatening injuries Friday in a three vehicle crash. Cancun Transit were on site Friday morning on Colosio Boulevard where a paint truck collided with a van and sideswiped a car.
The three vehicle accident that left one truck overturned happened near Plaza La Roca. Motorists traveling in the area had to avoid white paint that spilled when the small cargo truck overturned.
The driver of the cargo truck allegedly skidded and drove over the concrete central median into oncoming traffic just before 8:00 a.m. During the collision, the driver’s front end struck the left side of a white van and sideswiped a red Chevrolet Versa before toppling.
The cargo truck was found by Transit officers overturned its right side, eventually coming to rest in the northbound lane. Emergency personnel arrived to treat the injured.
