Cancun, Q.R. — The General Prosecutor’s Office of the state of Quintana Roo reports that ministerial police and personnel assigned to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Kidnapping have arrested two people wanted for kidnapping in Tamaulipas.
Quintana Roo authorities, working in coordination with the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Prosecutor’s Office of Tamaulipas, say they have executed an arrest warrant against Yazmín N and José N for the crime of kidnapping against E.J.V.
The man and woman were arrested in Cancun on an arrest warrant provided by a judge from the third judicial region of Matamoros, Tamaulipas. The pair were transferred to judicial authorities who will escort them back to the State of Tamaulipas to face the corresponding charges.
