Cancun, Q.R. — Two men who assaulted another man with “a large knife” were jailed Sunday. The pair were taken into police custody after neighbor reports of a man being injured by “a large knife” during a fight.
When police arrived at the Cancun home, they found one man with a machete wound to his face. He was treated on site by medical personnel before being transferred to hospital.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Police proceeded to arrest 28-year-old Jonathan N, a native of Cancún and Juan David N, 29 from Chiapas, on attempted murder charges. The two men assaulted the third man with their machete when he resisted their attempt to rob him.
