Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of an overturned vehicle was rushed to Cancun hospital after being freed by firemen. The Cancun fire department reported on the long weekend rollover that sent at least one person to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was traveling at excessive speed on the Chac Mool Avenue Extension when, taking the corner, he rolled. The vehicle was found laying on its roof on the sidewalk, trapping the driver inside.
Cancun firemen were called to the scene by police and paramedics after learning the driver was stuck inside his crushed vehicle. Using the jaws of life, he was freed from behind the wheel and transferred to hospital.
“Cancun Firefighters inform! Personnel from the Cancun Fire Department responded to an emergency call about a car accident on the Chac Mool Avenue Extension. Rescue operations were carried out to successfully free a man trapped inside the vehicle.
