One of two wanted for deadly Cancun parkade murder captured

Cancun, Q.R. — Francisco Antonio “N” was arrested Thursday for the shooting death of a man inside his vehicle. The shooting happened in a Cancun parkade on April 9 in Plaza Península that left a male driver dead.

According to local authorities, Francisco Antonio “N” is one of two people believed involved in and/or responsible for the deadly shooting.

“The field, cabinet and technological investigations relate the now detained person as one of the material authors of the homicide of a man who was related to a criminal group in the north of the country.

“As confirmed, he was being investigated for drug related crimes in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where he was previously arrested with 100 kilos of cocaine and firearms,” the FGE reported.

The deceased male was known to police. He was later identified as Carlos Adrián “E” who had been arrested in Nuevo León in 2021 after police found firearms and approximately 99 kilos of cocaine.

He was found dead behind the wheel of his car April 9 after being shot to death in an underground parkade in Cancun.
