Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle was killed in a morning traffic accident in Cancun. On Thursday, a motorcycle driver died after being hit by a cement truck. The accident happened in SM 518 when the motorcycle was attempting to cross Cancun Avenue and lost control of his bike.
He was hit by a cement truck that threw him from his motorcycle before dragging him. Witnesses to the 9:00 a.m. accident called 9-1-1. Traffic Police arrived and requested paramedics who confirmed the driver had died at the scene.
The driver of the cement truck was arrested and transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. There was no word on charges.
