Cancun, Q.R. — One man has died after he was shocked performing maintenance work on a jet ski in a marina of the Cancun Hotel Zone.
The accident happened Saturday afternoon in Plaza La Isla de Cancún when two men were working on the motor of a jet ski. When the jet ski was placed in the water, both men received an electric shock. Plaza security personnel called Emergency 911.
An ambulance responded to the report and arrived to find one man, 32-year-old Miguel M. had already died. The second man, 23-year-old Jario N, was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
