Cancun, Q.R. — A man was found laying dead on a Cancun sidewalk Tuesday evening after a report of gunfire. The body of the deceased male was located along José López Portillo Avenue near the residential area of Valle Verde.
Responding officers reportedly found eight shell casings near the body. The name, who has not been publicly identified, was shot at close range. Those responsible managed a successful escape before the arrival of police.
Cancun authorities have not commented on a possible motive for the deadly Tuesday night shooting.
