Cancun, Q.R. — Nine people were left injured after a traffic accident in Cancun involving three vehicles. The accident was recorded at 7:10 a.m. along Tulum Avenue when a transport passenger van collided with two private cars who were waiting at a red light.
According to the traffic report, nine people had to be transferred to different hospitals in the city after the driver of the passenger van lost control in a roundabout and overturned, colliding with the two vehicles.
The drivers of the private vehicles, 60-year-old Nain G.D.M. and 31-year-old Egdar R.S.R., were taken to Cancun hospital for injuries suffered in the collision. Seven others, who were passengers in the van, were also taken to different hospitals around the city of Cancun. The driver allegedly fled the scene.
