Cancun, Q.R. — Municipal police were at the scene of a Cancun taxi shooting Thursday afternoon that left two injured. The targeted attack happened on Miguel Hidalgo Avenue that left the driver and a front seat passenger with bullet wounds.
The two men were intercepted by a motorcycle from where numerous shots were aimed at the pair inside the cab. Police arrived to find the taxi stopped but still running after the driver was hit.
Both men inside the unit were rushed to hospital after reportedly being hit several times. Police have not released information on a possible motive for the broad daylight shooting.
