Cancun, Q.R. — Speed and wet pavement from the morning rains are the said cause of a fatal motorbike accident in Cancun. Tuesday morning, police arrived on Nichupté Avenue where they located a deceased man in the central median.
Motorists reported the single vehicle traffic accident near SM 51 to emergency services around 8:30 a.m. Paramedics were requested and confirmed the driver of the motorcycle was dead.
The young driver was traveling toward Del Bosque Avenue when he lost control and skidded for several meters. During the skid, he lost his helmet and suffered severe head injuries. Forensic authorities were called in to remove the body from the middle of the public avenue.
