Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun man was killed Thursday after he was hit by a city bus. The driver of the old model bus was traveling his route in SM 66 when he collided with the motorcycle driver at an intersection.
According to reports, the Route 5 bus was traveling along 17th Street when the two collided. The man was reportedly pronounced on scene by responding paramedics who found him laying dead on the sidewalk next to his motorcycle, which was still on the street.
Forensic staff from the State Attorney General’s Office were called in to gather evidence. The unidentified driver of the city bus was arrested.
