Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun Transit were part of the emergency response team to an accident on Huayacán Avenue late Monday morning. A collision between a car and motorcycle left one driver dead.
Paramedics confirmed the death of the motorcycle driver in the two vehicle collision that happened shortly before noon.
Witnesses reported seeing the car merge onto the avenue at the same moment the motorcycle happened by.

The driver of the bike collided with the driver’s side of the compact car. He was killed. The accident happened Monday morning on Huayacán Avenue at the intersection with 135th Avenue.
Emergency vehicles had temporarily shut the avenue due to the seriousness of the accident. Traffic on Huayacán Avenue was congested while authorities sorted out the two vehicle crash.
Police are working to identify the deceased driver of the motorcycle who was found without any identification on him at the time of the accident.
