Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun motorcyclist has died after crashing into a concrete median. The accident happened early Monday morning while attempting to take a city roundabout while allegedly speeding.
The accident happened in SM 254 in the La Joya residential subdivision of Cancun around 2:00 a.m. Emergency personnel who arrived at the scene found the driver, in his 30s, dead.
The man was believed traveling at a high rate of speed when his bike clipped the concrete roundabout, which sent him flying. He landed in the middle of the roundabout near his bike. He was pronounced on scene.
