Tulum, Q.R. — Tulum Mayor Diego Castañón continues to supervise the first stage of the Command and Communication Center (C2). The C2 is in the process of becoming a modern Command, Control, Computing and Communications Center.
Castañón has stressed the importance of the development of a C2 complex, noting that the transition will provide more efficient surveillance and faster response times to emergencies.
He says those improvements will come with the incorporation of advanced technology and specialized personnel.
Construction for the building began in June of this year with Castañón laying the first stones. The transformation to a C4 Centre includes cutting-edge video surveillance systems and the integration of various security and emergency departments, which will allow for better coordination.
“We are supervising the first stage of the Command and Communication Center (C2). This progress is key to the project of shielding and improving security in our municipality. We continue working for a safe Tulum for everyone,” he said.
