Cancun, Q. R. — A man believed responsible for the murder of a Veracruz woman was arrested in Cancun. On Wednesday, the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of William F after a warrant was issued for the 2016 crime.
The FGE reported that “investigative police of the FGE Quintana Roo, through coordinated work with agents of the Veracruz State Prosecutor’s Office, captured William “F” in the streets of the municipality of Benito Juárez.”
William F had an outstanding arrest warrant from the state of Veracruz where he has been wanted since 2016 for the murder of a woman. The agency reported that “on July 16, 2016, on a ranch in the municipality of Las Choapas, Veracruz, the body of the victim was located.”
With a joint effort between agencies, William F was finally apprehended. He will be returned to Veracruz to face charges.
