Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun responded to several reports of a man shooting a weapon from the top of a tower. On Sunday, Cancun police were sent to El Pedregal neighborhood of the city after several area residents reported the man for climbing the tower and firing a gun.
The 28-year-old was eventually arrested after climbing the Telmex tower to shoot off his weapon. Police were able to coax the man down, at which time he was searched. Quintana Roo Police located a handgun that had been fired. The arrested man has not been identified.
