Man wanted in State of Mexico captured outside Cancun mall

Cancun, Q.R. — A man wanted for fraud in the State of Mexico has been captured in Cancun. On Sunday, the Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo served a State of Mexico arrest warrant on Romero “N”.

According to the FGE, Romero “N” was wanted for his probable participation in the crime of specific fraud which occurred in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico.

“The events for which the subject is accused occurred at the beginning of 2022 when Romero “N” was hired to build an apartment tower in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico.

“However, he left the work unfinished, generating a monetary debt of approximately six million pesos towards the company,” the FGE detailed.

Agents of the Investigative Police completed the court order when the accused was leaving a shopping center in Cancun. After his arrest, he was transferred to the FGE Quintana Roo for the corresponding legal procedures and subsequent delivery to the authorities that require him in the State of Mexico.
