Cancun, Q.R. — A man was rushed to hospital from Cancun International Monday after a suicide attempt inside the airport. According to preliminary information, the man was in the area of a national airline ticket counter when he suddenly pulled out a pair of scissors and stabbed himself in the neck.
According to others in the lineup to buy tickets, he instantly fell to the floor. People from inside ticket area attempted to help him. One person applied CPR, but the man lay bleeding and unresponsive.
An ambulance was called and the unidentified man, rushed to Cancun hospital. The man is said to be from Puebla. The updated condition of his health status is not known.
