Cancun, Q.R. — A man pickup by Cancun police for disobedience and resistance has turned out to be a wanted criminal. Veracruz native Marco “N” was arrested in Cancun Monday for “the crime of Disobedience and Resistance to Individuals,” the SSC (Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana) reported.
During processing, authorities learned that their detained man had an outstanding warrant. According to the SSC, Marco “N” was labeled a pedophile and wanted by police in the state of Veracruz.
“The arrest of Marco “N”, allegedly involved in the crime of Disobedience and Resistance to Individuals, was made in the municipality of Benito Juárez.
“Likewise, it was detected that this person has an arrest warrant for the crime of Aggravated Pederasty, for which he was wanted in the state of Veracruz,” they detailed in their report.
Veracruz authorities were notified of the Cancun capture and arrangements made for his secured transfer back to his home state.
