Cancun, Q.R. — A man who assaulted a woman was left hogtied for police. Residents of SM 105 hogtied the man and left him on a sidewalk for authorities after he was caught physically assaulting a woman.
An ambulance transported the woman to hospital while police untied the man and handcuffed him for transport to a jail cell. The unidentified man was loaded into the back of a police unit from the Tierra Maya neighborhood.
Witnesses told police that they saw the man physically assaulting the woman while attempting to rob her of her personal belongings. The nighttime robbery attempt saw the man subdued by angry neighbors and hogtied while they waited for police.
