Man left behind by accomplice in Cancun robbery arrested

Cancun, Q.R. — A man left behind by his accomplice during the robbery of a business has been captured. The arrest was made after two men were surprised by the arrival of police.

The pair entered a business pretending to need information when one of them presented a firearm demanding cash and items. While in mid-robbery, police arrived. One of the two men ran from the store to his car and fled the scene, leaving the other behind.

The second man, identified by police as 27-year-old José N, was arrested. On his person, police located the .40 caliber weapon used in the robbery.
