Cancun, Q.R. — A man was found shot to death on a dirt road in Cancun Thursday. The unidentified victim was located this morning two kilometers from José López Portillo Avenue off the Auto Gas highway.
The body was found laying on a dirt road between the La Amistad and Santa Cecilia neighborhood. The person who made the 7:00 a.m. discovery reported the finding to police. Municipal officers arrived and confirmed the report.
The deceased man was found laying on his side with multiple bullet wounds.
Forensics was called in for the removal of the body. Army personnel provided perimeter security while experts processed the crime scene. The deceased is said to be around 30 years of age.
