Male driver providing transportation to women for sexual services charged with human trafficking

Cancun, Q.R. — Police say Eduardo “N”, who was in charge of transporting women to the places where they met clients, has been charged. Following compliance with an arrest warrant, Eduardo “N” has been charged with human trafficking in its form of prostitution of others.

“The now accused is identified as Eduardo “N”, who is being investigated as a result of a search warrant executed at a residence located on Holbox Street and La Costa Avenue where agents located four women, presumed victims of trafficking and prostitution,” they said.

According to initial investigations, the suspect was responsible for picking the women up at the airport, taking them to one of the houses set up to accommodate the victims, and also transporting them to the places where they met with clients for sexual services.

“He also waited for them to take them back to the houses where they were kept locked up,” they added.

“Likewise, the investigations led the authorities to a second house, located on Canario Street in the Quetzales subdivision of Cancun where they located four females, possible victims of the aforementioned crime,” said police.

Eduardo “N” has been formally charged and ordered to be held in pretrial detention for a period of two years or for the duration of the judicial process against him.
