Cancun, Q.R. — The main suspect in the disappearance of a Puebla woman in 2016 has been captured in Cancun. Óscar Isaac “N” was arrested by Ministerial Police Thursday morning in the city of Cancun.
A public statement has not been made by Quintana Roo authorities, however, the State Attorney General of the Republic has released information surrounding his arrest.
On Thursday, “elements of the Federal Ministerial Police of Cancun assured a subject that could be involved in the disappearance of Karina Yasmín Alducin Rodríguez.” The 21-year-old woman has been a missing person since August 21, 2016. She was last seen in the company of Óscar Isaac “N” at a bar in central Tehuacan, Puebla.
Óscar Isaac “N” has been wanted by Puebla Police as the main suspect in her 2016 disappearance. He has since been returned to the state of Puebla. Authorities have not said if Óscar Isaac “N” was living in Cancun as a resident or if he was captured on the move.
