Cancun, Q.R. — A tow truck was called to right a dump truck that left the highway and fell onto its side Monday. The truck was traveling along the Leona Vicario-Cancun highway just after 5:00 p.m. with a full load with the accident happened.
Authorities and paramedics were on hand. The driver of the unit was not injured, however, police were tied up while they waited for help dealing with the overturned heavy unit.
The driver allegedly lost control of his unit due to a mechanical failure.
