Cancun, Q.R. — Firemen were called to the scene of a fallen tree in SM 95 of Cancun Tuesday. A large branch that broke free from a city tree smashed through the windshield of a car.
Firemen were requested at the scene to cut the branch and help free those inside. An ambulance also responded to the report on Nichupté Avenue since four people were in the car when it was hit.
The driver, 39-year-old Gustavo “N” from Campeche, was traveling with his family at the time of the incident. Aside from breaking through the windshield, the landing of the branch also left a large dent in the passenger side hood.
A motorcycle being driven by 26-year-old Enoc “N” was also hit. He and his 26-year-old passenger, Carlos “A” were not injured, however, the bike was slightly damaged.
