Cancun, Q.R. — The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office has announced the arrests of two males for a July 13 murder. The agency says both Cristian “A” and Ramón “O” have been arrested for homicide and attempted homicide to the detriment of two male persons.
According to their investigation, “on July 13, both defendants intercepted the victims, who were driving in a car on the streets of Region 107 in the Paraíso Maya subdivision in Cancun to shoot them with firearms, causing injuries that caused one of them to lose his life.
“Elements of the Secretary of Public Security that patrolled the area, upon hearing the shots, carried out the pursuit and arrest of both subjects to later make them available to the Prosecutor of the Public Ministry, who began with the corresponding investigation.”
Both men have been formally charged and, at the order of a judge, will remain in preventative detention for the duration of their trials.
