Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun forensic medical personnel were at the scene of the discovery of human remains Wednesday. The discovery of parts of a human body was reported on the shores of Nichupté Lagoon in the Cancun Hotel Zone.
It was around 2:30 p.m. near the Nizuc Bridge that passersby found, what has turned out to be, human remains. Tourist Police, military and personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office were deployed to the area.
According to reports, an arm, spine fragments and skull were located during a search by forensic personnel. Authorities have not commented publicly on the finding.
