Cancun, Q.R. — Personnel from the FGE removed two charred bodies found in a Cancun suburb Monday. The bodies of two men were removed by forensics after being discovered on a dirt road in the El Pedregal neighborhood.
On Monday afternoon, ministerial authorities and criminal experts from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) attended to the scene of the discovery off Huayacán Avenue.
Municipal Police officers were the first to arrive in response to the 1:00 p.m. 9-1-1 call. They secured the area and notified ministerial authorities after confirming the report.

Agents from the Ministerial Police homicide unit arrived to begin an investigation. The remains were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service where personnel are working on legal identifications.
