Governor presents Puerto Morelos real estate agents with licenses to practice

Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — New agents trained and certified to buy and sell real estate in Puerto Morelos have been officially licensed. Over the weekend, authorities presented licenses to five more real estate agents, bringing the total to 279 for the municipality of Puerto Morelos.

The real estate licenses were presented by Governor Mara Lezama who was accompanied by DIF President, Verónica Lezama Espinosa, the mayor of Puerto Morelos, Blanca Merari Tziu and the head of the SEDETUS (National Institute of Statistics and Census), José Alberto Alonso Ovando.

According to Governor Lezama, licensed agents “allows those looking to purchase land to seek their advice and be confident that they are purchasing legally and in an orderly manner.”

The new professionals received 90 hours of training, which she said, is necessary training to qualify for their license.

Governor Lezama emphasized that with this training and certification of real estate advisors, her administration guarantees orderly growth, but above all, it gives investors certainty that the properties they are about to acquire will be done legally and in an orderly manner.
