Cancun, Q.R. — More than 250 million peso has been announced as an investment into the widening of Cancun’s Chac Mool Avenue. Governor Mara Lezama made the announcement, which she says, will speed up mobility and reduce transfer times once complete.
“We have concluded all the steps before the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) so that the expansion project of the 4.4 kilometers begin this year,” she reported.
Accompanied by the Secretary of Sustainable Urban Territorial Development (SEDETUS), Armando Lara De Nigris, the Governor explained that the project will have bus stops and public lighting in accordance with the importance of the road, which will connect Huayacán Avenue with Colosio Boulevard.
“Today we have reliable results with the support of our President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who deeply loves Quintana Roo,” she said.
