Cancun, Q.R. — The Special Projects Agency (Agepro) of the state government has closed public access to the Chac-Chi Marina in the Cancun Hotel Zone after the land was recently recuperated by state officials.
La Agencia de Proyectos Especiales (Agepro) sealed access to the Chac-Chi property located at kilometer 2.2 in the Cancun Hotel Zone after the government successfully recovered the land, which was part of the state property illegally sold under value during a previous administration.
Enrique Paredes, manager of the marina explained that Agepro closed access as a precautionary measure as part of the recovery of the land. “It affects us in the operation of this marina on which 300 families depend, as well as affects all citizens who entered the beach through this public access,” he said.
