Four properties searched in Cancun suburbs leads to finding of drugs and weapons

Cancun, Q.R. — The search of four properties in Cancun lead police to the discovery of drugs, weapons and ammo. According to a report by the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), three people were arrested during the four property searches.

The search warrants were granted by the District Judge Specialized in the Accusatory Criminal System of the state. The Public Ministry of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), in collaboration with the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), among others, searched four properties in the Alfredo V. Bonfil Ejido on the outskirts of Cancun.

From the four searches, numerous bags of marijuana and cocaine were found along with nearly a thousand rounds of ammo for various weapons, a grenade, two cardboard boxes containing 199 magazines for firearms, a truck without license plates and two weapons among other items.
