Cancun, Q.R. — Eight elements of the Quintana Roo Police arrested four subjects in Cancun for carrying firearms. The arrests were made when patrolling police noticed a poorly parked vehicle with its engine running at the gate of a crane yard.
An inspection of the Ford vehicle found parked along the Cancun-Mérida highway at the Grúas Figueroa yard led to an inspection of its four occupants. Inside the vehicle, police found the four traveling with three guns.
Police report the arrests of 34-year-old Erick N, Asterio N 36, Jonathan N 23 and 22-year-old Armando N for the crime of carrying firearms.
