Cancun, Q.R. — A four car collision left Sunday morning traffic congested in a busy intersection of Cancun. City Transit were sent to the intersection of Bonampak and Xcaret avenues around 9:00 a.m. in response to motorist accident reports.
Emergency bodies found four heavily damaged cars blocking the entire avenue near where the accident took place. According to witnesses, the chain reaction occurred when one of the cars, who they claimed was following too close, rear-ended another car.
From that, two more became involved. Transit were left to sort out the official involvement of the Changan, Aveo, Attitude and Renault that were found crashed at the scene.
Although paramedics arrived, they were not needed. There were no injuries reported, only substantial material damage.
