Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun firemen were sent to deal with several vehicle fires located in the back of a meat shop Tuesday. What is believed to have been an intentionally set fire, had firemen scrambling to save the others vehicles from also catching fire.
Emergency 911 received the report of the fire at 4:45 a.m. Firemen were deployed to the MaxiCarnes shop in SM 313 where they located at least three company truck already in flames.
Municipal police and Civil Protection personnel cordoned off the area while firefighters worked to control the situation. Firemen battled flames for more than a hour. A total of four company trucks were lost. There were no human injuries reported.
