Cancun, Q.R. — A foreign woman found dead in a Cancun house last week died of natural causes. On Monday, the State Attorney General (FGE) clarified the woman died from a stroke.
FGE head Raciel López Salazar explained that her body was found inside her home August 10, however, it was not until August 14 that authorities released any information.
According to Salazar, the body of 50-year-old Petra “T”, a former Spanish model, was located deceased inside her home by a friend. The friend stopped by after Petra messaged her saying she was not feeling well. She was found dead in her bathroom.
An autopsy revealed she died from cerebral thrombosis, a brain clot, which resulted in a stroke.
