Cancun, Q.R. — A five vehicle collision at a Cancun intersection that left seven injured is being blamed on a speeding FGR police unit.
The Friday morning crash happened around 10:30 when ministerial elements were responding to a call in the 200 block of Cancun. While passing through the intersection of Andrés Quintana Roo and Kohunlich Avenues, the police cruiser hit a Andres Quintana Roo taxi, which evolved into a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the report, a truck from the Prosecutor’s Office and four other vehicles were involved. In addition, the report says that seven people were injured and transferred to a private hospital for medical attention.
