Cancun, Q.R. — A handful of people were left with injures Saturday after three vehicles collided on José López Portillo Avenue. Emergency services were at the scene of the collision where two public vehicles and one private car collided.
The three vehicle crash happened around 7:00 p.m. near Santa Cecilia when, according to available information, the driver of the truck swerved and collided with an oncoming combi.
The public transport combi then collided with a parked vehicle which then hit a parked trailer. Paramedics assessed five injured people at the scene, all passengers from inside the combi.
Cancun Transit were at the crash site interviewing drivers while waiting for tow trucks to remove the vehicles involved.
