Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun firemen rushed to Plaza las Américas after receiving the report of a fire. The report was made just after midnight when firemen received the news of a fire inside a jewelry store.
When they arrived at the shopping centre, firemen located the fire in Joyería Premier on the third floor. As smoke gushed out from the closed doors, firemen were successful in cutting off the locks to enter where they found a room of flames.
The store suffered extensive damage. It had remained closed, along with other non-essential businesses, due to the current health epidemic. Firemen have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
