Cancun, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) of Quintana Roo carried out a search investigation of a property. The property search was made after a complaint by Conagua.
The Public Ministry of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), in collaboration with the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) in coordination with elements of the National Guard, searched a property located on federal highway 307 Chetumal-Puerto Juárez (formerly agrarian reform-Puerto Juárez), in the municipality of Benito Juárez.
The property was searched after the report of dispossession by a group of people who entered the Conagua-owned property. On site, authorities secured 36 different pieces of equipment, including 17 heavy machinery vehicles, four trailers and a power plant, among others.
The searched site was protected and the corresponding seals were affixed while the investigation continues in order to prosecute the probable person(s) responsible.
