Alfredo V. Bonfil, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports that police in the Disappearance of Persons unit have captured Carlos Z and seized drugs after searching properties located at two different points in the town of Alfredo V. Bonfil on the outskirts of Cancun.
An investigation allowed prosecutors to request the necessary search warrants that lead to the operation, which was carried out in coordination with the state and municipal police along with elements of the National Guard.
The FGE says that authorities began with the processing of two adjoining buildings located on Luis Echeverría Álvarez Avenue and another located on Javier Rojo Gómez Street, both in the town of Alfredo V. Bonfil on the outskirts of the city of Cancun.
During their search, they found drugs in both buildings, which derived from an investigation initiated by a kidnapping.
