Cancun, Q.R. — A man wanted on homicide charges in Cancun has been arrested. In a press release, the Attorney General of the State says that Investigation Agents completed an arrest warrant against José P for the crime of homicide.
According to their investigation, on June 2, 2021 at approximately midnight, the defendant arrived on a motorcycle at a home in Region 234 where he is alleged to have shot the victim causing injuries that resulted in his death.
The victim remains unidentified. Details of the case have not been released beyond the press release. José P has also been charged with drug dealing. He will remain in preventative detention at the Center for Social Reintegration in Cancun.
