Cancun, Q.R. — An international fugitive wanted for fraud was arrested inside Cancun International Wednesday. The arrest of Roy Cuzin, an Israeli citizen, was made by federal authorities and Interpol personnel after arriving on a flight from Panama.
According to the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), the operation was carried out at Terminal 2 after authorities were notified Cuzin had boarded a Copa airline flight bound for Cancun.
Once authorities confirmed his entry into the country, officers from the Federal Ministerial Police and the Criminal Investigation Agency proceeded with his arrest.
The 45 year old fugitive, originally from Haifa, Israel, has allegedly been using financial resources to move around countries to avoid capture. Cuzin was wanted by Israeli justice for his alleged involvement in a fraud scheme involving a trade company using binary options.

After his arrest inside Cancun International, he was boarded onto an Aeroméxico flight and flown to Mexico City for the extradition process.
