Cancun, Q.R. — The bodies of a man and woman found in the trunk of a car in Cancun Monday have been identified. Bryan Alexis EV, 20 and Layla Beatriz NP, 19, were found bound and shot in the trunk of a silver car.
Their bodies were located around 11:00 a.m. by family members from the El Venado neighborhood in SM 206. Preventative Police were first on scene, confirming the discovery of the two dead bodies.
The man worked as a bricklayer’s assistant and the woman in a stationery store. Both were found face down in the trunk, bound by their hands and feet. They were found in the trunk of a gray Nissan Tiida owned by one of the deceased.

Family members who had not heard from them since Saturday went to their home to check on them. State Police, Ministerial Police and the Army also attended the scene, guarding the area Monday while awaiting for forensic services.
Police have not provided details surrounding the murders including a possible motive.
