Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of a van who failed to notice a slowing car ended up crashing into the back of it. The highway accident left both the van and compact car severely damaged.
The Saturday afternoon roadway crash outside Cancun happened when the driver of the compact car was slowing down to enter a side road. However, the driver of the van failed to notice the slowing car, which resulted in him slamming into the back of it.
The small car was run off the highway and into the ditch. The blue compact Spark suffered extensive damage. Six people were evaluated for injuries on scene by paramedics with one person being taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
