Cancun, Q.R. — An elderly man was killed Wednesday in Cancun when he was hit by a motorcycle. Residents in SM 226 called for an ambulance after the two collided.
The elderly man was riding a bicycle along avenida 20 de Noviembre when he was struck by a motorcycle. Both riders were thrown from their bikes. Responding medical personnel reported the 66-year-old bicyclist dead on scene.
Municipal Police arrived to cordon off the area. The driver of the motorcycle who hit the man on the bicycle was arrested.
