Cancun, Q.R. — A man who attempted to enter a chicken eatery through an exhaust unit needed help from firemen. The adult man found himself stuck about halfway down the stove ventilator as he was about to lower himself to the floor.
With a few superficial skin wounds, he was found dangling from the ceiling by responding firemen. Firemen were called to chicken eatery on Lombardo Toledano Avenue in SM 231 of Cancun Tuesday morning after the man was discovered by owners.
The man is alleged to have crawled over the building’s roof to the exhaust ventilator where he tried to then enter the eatery, however, he shoulders would not fit past the top opening.
The 9-1-1 call made by the restaurant’s owners resulted in the arrival of firemen who used tools to dismantled the ventilator-exhaust unit and free the would-be thief. After being freed, he was handed over to Cancun police.
